Katie Meade Makes Top 30 Beauty Moments of 2016
In November, Cosmopolitan released their list of the “30 Most Lit Beauty Moments of 2016”. Right up there with Alicia Keys’ no-makeup movement and James Charles’ Covergirl contract was Katie Meade’s Fearless campaign.
We knew Katie was the right girl for the job when we were looking for a pin-up to represent a product titled “Fearless”. Spunky, outgoing, and with definitive opinions on beauty, the Best Buddies International Ambassador stole our hearts before Fearless was even a concept on a bulletin board.
Fearless Hair Rescue Treatment launched in April with Katie on the package, making her the first person with Down Syndrome to be the face of a beauty product. And the world took notice.
In recent months, Katie, along with several other influential women in the beauty industry, has been recognized for breaking boundaries in the beauty world. From Kerry Washington’s natural hair on the red carpet, to Lulu B’s curvaceous bod on the runway, the way the world defines beauty is changing. We like where this is going. #BeautyBelongsToEveryone
