Beauty and Pin-Ups Launches Newest Product
We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of the next product in our Beauty & Pin-Ups lineup. Our newest product, Fearless, will be available to stylists and salons on March 14, 2016.
This at-home or in-salon intensive, hair rescue treatment helps rebuild broken bonds and revive brittle hair, saving it from thermal, mechanical and chemical damage. Enriched with Hydrogenated Castor Oil, it lends shine and revived thickness. Fearless restores, reconstructs and replenishes, making it the perfect healing mask for those who blow dry, straighten, curl or color their hair. And, like all of our products, it’s free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates.
With this exciting new product, we’d like to introduce Katie Meade – the most fearless person we know and the face of this product. Katie has battled heart surgery, won Special Olympic gold, and shines as a Best Buddies International Spokeswoman. She’s also a daughter, sister, and a friend who has broken down barriers, busted stereotypes and stigmas and won over countless hearts, including ours. Katie is our inspiration.
Featuring the incomparable Katie Meade as our pin-up is definitely making waves. As the first person with Downs Syndrome on the cover of a beauty package, Katie is attracting attention from news media and industry bests. People.com is exclusively breaking the story to the world this March. Katie will help us launch Fearless at America’s Beauty Show in Chicago March 12-14th, goes on stage in Des Moines for the Beauty Systems Group “Best of the Best” event to tell her story, followed by a media tour in NYC. The buzz continues on April 14th, when our Fearless commercial spot will air during Global Beauty Masters on TLC. The clip will be available on our website soon.
As with all Beauty & Pin-Ups products, a portion of the proceeds from every sale goes to support Best Buddies International.
This product is about so much more than healthy hair – it’s about breaking down social norms, barriers and misperceptions. It’s about confidence and beauty, inside and out. It’s about being fearless in whatever you do. And it’s because, as Katie says, “looking good is feeling good.”
